EVA INSERT DESIGN
Made around the bottle,
not a generic foam block.
An EVA insert keeps the fragrance bottle in a consistent orientation and frames it at the moment of opening. The most useful design work happens before sampling: align the cavity with the finished bottle, cap and accessories rather than adjusting a standard insert afterward.
Insert decisions
- Cavity follows the actual bottle footprint and orientation
- Insert depth balances hold, removal and lid clearance
- Separate recesses can be planned for caps, vials or cards
Plan before sampling
Use the final filled bottle and cap where possible. A sample should check the fit, removal force, front-facing orientation and how the box feels when it is opened.

Material, surface finishing and insert treatment shape the same unboxing moment. Define the desired brand character first, then confirm the functional bottle fit through a sample.

A lift-off lid and base creates a composed opening sequence for fragrance presentation.
EVA cavity
The cut line follows the bottle shape, holding zone and access needed for removal.

What is needed to design an EVA insert for a perfume bottle?
Send the finished bottle dimensions, base profile, full height with cap, bottle weight and clear photos. If the bottle is asymmetrical, define the front orientation too. These details establish the EVA cavity and box clearance.
Does an EVA insert hold the bottle securely?
A custom-cut EVA cavity can hold a bottle in a defined position inside a rigid presentation box. The final fit, removal force and cap clearance should be checked with the finished bottle during sampling.
Can an EVA insert include a cap, sample vial or card?
Yes. The layout can include separate cavities or recesses for fragrance accessories. Each component should be supplied or dimensioned before the tray sample is made.
Does a perfume presentation box replace shipping protection?
A premium perfume box is designed for retail and gifting presentation. Parcel or export delivery may require a separate corrugated transit carton and suitable protective packing for the complete packed product.
