Translate the concept
We reviewed the client’s AI reference and proposed the box structure, materials, carry-handle direction and finishing approach needed for a viable pack.
REAL PROJECT · NEW US CONSUMER BRAND
A corrugated gift mailer with a PU carry handle, developed from an AI concept into a tested production pack.
The client was launching a new toilet-paper gifting idea without an existing packaging design. Their initial reference was an AI visual. They asked us to turn that direction into a practical, premium package that would stay accessible in cost compared with a rigid gift box.

THE STARTING POINT
The concept already had a strong ambition: make an everyday, lower-price product feel giftable. What it did not yet have was a structure, a material plan, a handle specification or proof that the finished box could carry the contents safely.

THE STRUCTURAL DECISION
Rather than a conventional rigid box, the project used a corrugated mailer-style gift box. It offered a practical balance of material efficiency, assembly and protective structure, while the PU carry handle made the finished pack feel more like a considered gift.
THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS
Across approximately one month, the project moved from concept clarification to a final production specification. The client reviewed real sample details before the bulk run began.
We reviewed the client’s AI reference and proposed the box structure, materials, carry-handle direction and finishing approach needed for a viable pack.
A physical sample was made in 2 days so the client could examine the structure, handle integration and presentation rather than approve a digital visual alone.
The sample was checked against the client’s requirement that the finished gift box carry at least 5 kg for 10 minutes.
We shared detailed sample images for confirmation. Once the construction and presentation were approved, bulk production was completed in 13 days.

FROM SAMPLE TO BULK
After the construction and load requirement were reviewed on the sample, the design moved into production. The result retained the practical corrugated format while giving the package a distinctive shelf and gifting presence.

PROJECT OUTCOME
The approved mailer met the client’s requirement to carry at least 5 kg for 10 minutes. It also gave the toilet-paper product a more substantial and giftable presentation without requiring the cost profile of a rigid box.
CASE-STUDY QUESTIONS
It can be a useful direction for a product that needs both a stronger outer structure and a more presentable handover. The final design depends on product weight, arrangement, sales channel and desired unboxing experience.
A corrugated format can be a useful way to balance protection, cost and assembly while still allowing a branded presentation. Premium details such as wrap finishes, handles and fittings can change the perceived value of the finished pack.
Yes, when the handle material, fitting, board construction and expected carrying load are considered together. A physical sample helps confirm handle placement and the strength of the complete pack.
We can discuss a sample-stage check around the project’s expected contents and handling needs. This project was evaluated against a requirement to carry at least 5 kg for 10 minutes.
Those were the timings achieved for this project. Future schedules depend on structure, artwork readiness, materials, quantity and approval timing; transit is additional.
